Tigger is my Co-Pilot

This is Tigger.  Shiny and brand new a couple of years ago, cruising shot gun in the rental car and guarding the Coach purse  in Orlando...You may THINK he has the life.....and you may also be wondering why in the heck a grown Woman is riding around with a Tigger in her car...The sorry truth is this, I love , love , LOVE Tiggers, and Tigers, always have, always will. When I was little one of my nicknames was "Toni Tiger" and I guess it just sunk in somehow.  And THIS Tigger helps me...

I now have 4 Grandkids, so I have an EXCUSE to drive around with a Tigger in the car. He is great at entertaining squirmy babies, AND  He has become the stand- in squeeze me as hard as you can helper in situations like this,

My Grandson gets bit by a dog, Mae Mae (Me) is on the way to the ER with Tigger.  He's fine, and Tigger helped, and we know Tigger helped because he was kind enough to accompany TJ into surgery at Miami Childrens about a year or so ago...
Picture
And he was an incredible help there too...only minor surgery (He's fine!) but still Tigger was right there with him..they even wheeled him off with Tigger in the bed beside him....

This is my Granddaughter Alexis, at her Graduation from 5th grade...guess how SHE celebrated graduation? Yep, you guessed it, accidently banged her head on a dresser, and Yep, BANG!  stitches, but since she's 11,    I won't embarrass her by posting HER Tigger picture, just know he was there...Isn't she beautiful? Even Tiggerless?
Picture
And he's a good baby sitter/bottle holder in a pinch.  It's getting to be a family joke..."Mom - Rush to the ER! Got Tigger?!".  I just don't know what I'm going to do when they are too big for Tigger...and neither one of my daughters ever got stitches or broke a bone!  So I am grateful for Tigger's support.  My oldest daughters stepson (My Stepgrandson?)  that lives in Miami wanted to TAKE Tigger back to Miami with him after one of our ER "excursions".  His reasoning was that if HE needed him that it would take me too long to get there, so I should just give him Tigger right there and then.  I was tempted and really admired his reasoning but Naaahhh, TJ may be too old soon but there's still little Nate!
Picture
See the thing about Tigger is you can always count on him, he's got that great big smile and is always ready to GO!  And even tho' he's getting a little worn around the edges from all the late nights, he gets lots of rest in between so he'll be there when he's needed.  And he's never EVER scared, not that I ever am in these situations, but you know what I mean, right?   So, do any of YOU have Tiggers?

XO
Smiles,
Toni
